Thanksgiving Thanks
Thanks for the land
that used to belong
to someone else
Thanks for the food
that is grown and picked
by people that aren’t allowed
Thanks for the stuff
that is made by people
that don’t get paid enough
Thanks for the country
that was built
by the disenfranchised
Let’s consume on this day
to maintain an economy
that benefits the capital
that was earned by people
that didn’t get it
