Read Poem: Forgotten dream, by Katarzyna E. Adamus

Forgotten dream

I’m looking at you

Without your courage

You look so funny

With years of dust

Forgotten dream

Where have you been?

Were you not mine?

I am too old, I am too rusty

Forgotten dreams

Forgotten goals

So many of you

Circling my head

Leave me alone

I have no power

To make you happy

You had a chance

Forgotten dream

Don’t be so mean

Leave me alone

Go to the younger

Go to the braver

I feel so broke

Seeing your parade

Forgotten dream

Leave me alone
