ROMANCE Poem: Saturday Delight, by Adrian Sam

Moon Shadows…
Breaking thru daylight
Glistening…
With the afterglow of the night
Awakening the stars,
Set afire and burning bright
Moments away…
Saturday Delight

Rays of sunshine…
Smiling down on the milky way
Traveling thru the spectrum
Turning darkness into day…
With its lips upturned,
Like the scarlet kiss of night
And the thoughts of the new moon…
Tempting Saturday Delight

Lightening…
Enters, like the crackle of dawn
And escapes…
Like the phantoms
Into the night
And it tastes like candy,
Coated with sugar
Caressing…
Saturday Delight
