TRAGIC Poem: JUSTICE, by Cherie Logan Thurner

Time of death
Three forty nine.
I declare.
I am qualified
An official certificate hangs on my wall.
Why this moment?
I choose it.
He deserved it
The morgue gives his number.
Six. Six. Six.
The funeral home takes
His releasing number.
Cremation awaits him.
Cardboard box to follow.
