DRAMATIC MONOLOGUE Poem: Private Job, by Manoj Thakur

I am working in a private job, have lot of frustration
I lost my vision, reached this station

My manager scolded me many times
Told me that, I know you are young, but don’t show your
aggression,
Do whatever I told you to do,
Don’t use your brain don’t show your creativity and your
creation
Day after day,
It is getting tougher and it is getting harder
Slowly slowly I am losing my passion
I worked hard, day and night to reach here
Believe me, I don’t like that road and this destination
I remember those days
When I was a kid
I fought with all those things
Where I was unfit
I had a desire to do something different,
I created many arts I was gifted with imagination
..
Responsibilities over burden me time passed by and things changed
I never knew how I reached here
Everything looks strange

I kept making mistakes
Kept on helping others
I sunk, I used to play with waves
used to be a great surfer
..
Life has strange ways young man
Sometimes it becomes impossible to love the rain
I worked hard with the hope that future would be bright
But it was just an illusion
Sometimes life become so complicated
You have no solution
What time will bring, we don’t know
Without god’s grace and good luck
You are just like melting snow
AT TIMES IN LIFE NOTHING WORKS NOT EVEN MOTIVATION
A private job …. All i left with
