FREE VERSE Poem: jellyfish, by Lina Yoon

we are like jellyfish
formless blobs floating in the vast universe
so insignificant
yet we all live
special to ourselves

we are jellyfish
illuminating our dark swirling sea
wiggling through midnight darkness
wispy tentacles
like flames

we are jellyfish
we drift in our never ending sea of life
seemingly the same flimsy
but so rare so strange
we float as individuals
