RELATIONSHIP Poem: February 3rd, by Thomas Decker

Gentle upon her eyes
Is this land
The lights we escape

She breathes the meadow’s dew
Her steps alert the yarrows
I’m a visitor here

The beauty bestowed upon her landscape
I may yearn to love
To hold
