DEATH Poem: GOING, GOING, GONE, by Karin Reimondos

The expiration date stuck to the soul

The sheer size of reality hit

Emotions trapped underneath

The frozen lake

Fear dug deep into the ocean floor

The anger reaching the Hulk’s explosion

Tears of joy, tears of fear

The destination grew closer

The journey came to an end. Box in car,

Chest in church. Box in ground.
