Read Poem: Love Two Heart’s Forever by David P Carroll

I dream of you every night
Loving you with true delight
As I cherish you I feel you
Inside my heart tonight
Your smile deep inside my heart
Your eyes so bright
Whispers of love through the wind tonight

As I dream of you every night
Loving you more every night
I wait for your gentel touch at night
I fall in love with you every night
We become one in loving
In love we come together
Always forever
We are two doves we sing and dance always together
But our hearts always forever
We share a moment together
Our true love will
Forever last together.

Read Poem: MEMORY LANE by Tiffany Saxon

At some point in one’s life; they seem to want to hide their past.
Burying all the lies and secret; and finally letting go….
Until one day
They wake up, and must come; face to face with the Memory Lane;
That taunts them and keeps reminding them by saying….
I’m here and you haven’t seen the last.
For I am Memory Lane
The game change,
Crying Game, and the nightmare;
That continues to give you grief and pain.
I am Memory Lane!
The memory that never sleeps
Yet
Keeps all the nightmares that;
You seemed to have hid… By being discrete.
That’s so sweet! But I’m not here for peace.
I’m here to drive you insane
By bringing back those faces…
That one’s that once had a life; with a name.
For I am the deck of cards called “MEMORY LANE”.

Read Poem: Flavors of Friends by tio Stib

Some are vanilla,
predictably plain
Dependably true
always the same

Some are exotic
quixotic
sherbets with fireworks lives
occasionally glancing
to check others’ eyes

then the specials
like bubblegum treat
beautifully different
sumptuous sweets

Yes, chocolate, strawberry,
and rocky road too
friends of all flavors
some licked and
some chewed

like ice cream
I taste them
each one of a kind
then off on their way
they melt in my mind

Yet over the years
a few friends remain
these flavors I savor
again
and again

Read Poem: ME by Bruce Grossman

I am

That flows

Universe

No one in particular

Animal who wants

to be fed

(fifty pound)

As old as the

Smile when I’m well

I talk while it ticks

I sleep horizontal and

(a hundred)

When I’m sick

Everyman alive

Walks perpendicular

Amazon of consciousness

Through my need.

REDEMPTION
A demon pulls and scratches at my skin until the light from my soul pierces through the ripped muscle and sinews in my chest.

God reaches in, wraps both hands around the illuminated sphere and the fire that burns my heart from the inside melts into a polished, luminescent orb.

My soul is purified and restored within my empty cavity. He carefully pulls and stitches each layer of dermis until I am wholly reconstructed.

With gentle hands, he irons down my wrinkles, softly embracing me and vows to never let me go.

Read Poem: Dream Catcher by SWETA

Behind the curtain of rain,
I could see a boy, walking up to me
And sound of the rain was silenced
As he held me, like a destiny.

His eyes were trying to see through
I closed mine in bliss
My lips opened in awe
Were just then closed in a kiss.

I woke up in the middle of a night
I found you, staying, with my mind.
How silly it seems when I start smiling
In the dreams of you, utterly wild.

An hour before it nulled,
and rejected to breathe again
the delight that choked this heart
Turned it a bit insane.

It’s not fair to steal my time
and my dreams that has you.
It is like a pleasant robbery
that has my consent and hands too.

I go back, in the slumber again
To sink into the dreams of you
In the morn with the drowsy sun
You still hover as a midnight clue

I admit that I always lie
and hide my part of sin
that accuses me of loving you madly
and feigning the act of grin.

Over the phone, against the pillow
The night stays awake with us
Only before the sun rises,
We find the moon, fading and jealous.

Your eyes speak, like the oceanic waves
And face gleams, razzing the moon
My sleeps are bewildered and stolen
In the eternal wait of meeting you soon.

Read Poem: Prayer For Humanity by Timothy Patrick Hunt

If ever there was a time for GOOD-WILL
…NOW is that time….

And, if ever there was a need to SEE
We must all live in PEACE…
I can only say,
“We must first HEAR each other’s needs.”

For, if ever there was such a DILEMMA to be solved,
It’s the BLINDNESS and DEAFNESS, that only LOVE can cure….
Because of these two afflictions, our INTELLIGENCE suffers,
And all our HUMAN senses become obscured.

So, if ever there was a time to be KIND — to one another
…Let us pray, WE don’t waste … anymore TIME.
