Read Poetry: WORDS, by Leo Lozada

words
tainted my soul,
touched my heart,
caught my fall.

words
made me dream,
took me far,
light my dim.

words
kissed my hair,
blushed my cheeks,
gave me air.

words
whispered to me,
coaxed me out,
now I’m free.
