Read Poem: POEM 100, by Claudia Wells

How does one choose
For a poem tells the story of life whether buoyant or in a noose

How do you choose from hundreds of poems
Songs waiting to be sung
Dreams yet to have begun

Faded glory in the story
Yet new arisings
Phoenix apprising
Stories all true
Hearts strings tied up with glue
Unstick one by one
Learn in each moment to find the fun
It’s the Son
The son is Christ
He’s the answer to my minds leanings of demise
Christ the son
The glory one
The prickles one feels
From His Holy Spirit
Knowing He’s near

All poems lead to One
They lead to the answer for everyone
Truth be told
Faith is a must
Can’t see Him
But told to believe Him
Not by feelings
Not by might
It’s sunlight
Pushing out the dark
It’s freedom from the naked the stark
It’s joy everlasting
Peace that’s surpassing
Kindness encompassing
To bloom into a life
That’s worth living.

I’ve twice decided to write 100 poems and amazing timing, this submission just created my Poem 100!

Grateful always,
