Read Poem: Solitude, by Chandrani Banerjee

Shadows speak from the corners
Insects spread their frosty wings
There’s a strange silence I hear
It’s too loud for me
The crickets chirp away
making a merry racket
like a steel drum player in full cry
Catch the precious streaks of light
of solitude and second sight.
