I walked away
My head held straight
Looking just straight ahead
Walking down my path
I didn’t look back
And walked away
As your tears fell
Right behind me
Like a rainfall
I could barely breathe before
And now I soar so high
So free and light
Away from the dark
And the toxicity
That was you.
