Read Poem: YOU, by Daniela Zeffiro

If by chance I had not met you,
I would not have experienced the moment of your laughter,
I would not have caught the mystery of your discretion,
your sweet impetuosity. If by chance I had taken another path,
I would not be here with the patience of wanting to see beyond the imaginary
face I have sketched in myself.
