Read Poem: Girls Will Be Girls by KayBeeMapes

You can call it cliche baby.
Turn your face up and frown,
Cover your face and giggle as I make my way down, you’re apprehensive yet intrigued which basically means.. lay Down. Part your knees. Lips say “no”. Eyes say “please”. Another kiss they fall open inviting me in, and I understand you don’t want this attention from your best friend but
What’s the harm if you just look away? Can’t see my face when you put your palms back in their place and move those panties out the way.
I’m diving in best friend .
First kiss taste like nectar, second kiss taste like pleasure , softly moaned “no’s ” but you keep getting wetter and,
Now you NEED to finish desperate times desperate measures
And though I’ve fantasized forever can’t believe we’re doing this together.
Never thought I’d find the X that marks the treasure.

Girls like girls sometimes and that’s the bottom line.
You don’t have to be ashamed. You don’t have to tell no one I come at night and make it rain with no clouds in the sky,
That we twist one up, vibe , part our thighs and finish at the same time from time to time.
That’s my best friend.
So tight I feel you squeeze my finger like a diamond when I slip in. Perfect size.
And we don’t worry about your guy because he’s thinking we’re at brunch.
Not knowing I choose to eat you for our lunch dates.
When you’ve had some mimosas and get a little flirty, wearing high heals and short skirts cause you know it does it for me.
You secretly flaunt it knowing I secretly want it. Watching from the sidelines and its taunting.
The sway of your thick hips got me wanting your thick lips pressed against my thick lips and its haunting.

Show me what you’re made of best friend expose your soul to me, then let me clean it with my lips. Perversions taking control of me and all I’m thinking is I want you to POUR on me best friend.
Let it happen.
Let my teeth sink into your forbidden apple for the garden wouldn’t be poisoned if it were women to begin with
Cut the shit .
Don’t make me beg for it, whatever happened to open-mindedness?
And not letting labels be the thing people defines us with?

List your excuses while I creep up from behind and just let lust be the guide to find my way between your thighs.
It’s only right to know your best friend outside and inside, tell me I’m right.
Give in.
Give up.
Then we can call it a night, all it takes is a little trust.
Apprehensive yet intrigued, a simple task a simple thing. I just want the one thing you won’t share with me.
Come on and not care with me, go bare with me, sit on my lap and let’s explore for clarity.
I know what to do SINCERELY to get you off, so lose the clothes girl take it off, its making sense, don’t take the loss.
Take the nut instead.
Not that big a deal its just a little head for my best friend.
Apprehension morphs to tension as she readys herself for an act that can’t be forgiven, she says my name as if I’ve been missing from her wildest dreams.
Bad girls. Bad fantasies. That makes us do sweet things like the acts that we exchange.
She taste like relief, and I taste like her peace. waters running down my lips, chin, and cheeks and she needs it with the stress of her work weeks.
Got her all wound up, the tide is tough but I won’t give up, instead I buckle down, pulling her hips closer to my face there’s no stopping now, as she looks down she can’t even care now, she needs me here where I am and I watch her lips say “I’m cumming best friend.”
That’s my best friend.

Read Poem: A Love Letter To Michael Myers and Halloween by Jaye Clinton

You showed up in our lives in 78′

You were just a small boy up way too late

Your sister was brushing her hair till it gleamed

But your knife was shinier and so was your scheme

You stabbed her and killed her and put on a new mask

Taken away without completing your task

Fore another sister you had who we knew got away

But you finally came back on that one certain day

October 31st, Halloween night you went on a rampage and caused such affright

The residents of Haddonfield soon went running amok

Fleeing away from you without having much luck

You found your sister Laurie, now Strode her last name

And went about on your own killing game

You chased her, and chased her and cornered her you had

But a long came Loomis who shot you so bad

But die you didn’t, you disappeared in the night

Was that the Boogeyman? she asked and Loomis said right

So we welcome you back on this Halloween

Bringing back your sister a true scream queen

You’ve entertained and thrilled us, and caused us to fear

The Boogeyman is real and 2018 the year

You’re my best friend and forever my true lover
I know our true is true
Holding you forever inside
My beating heart
Thinking solely of you
My love

Your gentel kiss
Your warm smile
A feeling for true love
Living you my sweetheart
When you’re at my side
Oh I fall in love

A beauty from above
From inside and out
A true gift from above

A passion of love
So deep inside my heart
I’m happy I’ve truly found you
The one who was truly
Touched my beating heart.

Read Poem: Portkey by Nishant Gang

On the cold night of December 23,
As I was walking by the lake,
Laid on the grass, a beautiful key,
Remarkable, hard to make.

Tempted to find the door it belonged,
I walked here and there.Yet,
Found nothing after searching for long,
So I sat on this side chair.

Didnt realise what happened next,
But I woke up at the same spot.
Everything seemed simple yet complex,
As I sat on the chair I had sought.

It was evening when I woke up,
And people were walking around.
Medieval seemed the whole setup,
And the currency spoke of a crown.

On the far side I saw a man,
Who looked just as did I.
Smiled, left a note and a pen,
Written, “I am glad you came by”.

Further said…

“I wonder how it will be,
A reflection from the future far,
Let I alone find this key,
And smile while feeling bizarre”

Read Poem: SENSELESS by JSpeaks The Poet

A tweet from a party; 100 young people showed up

Two died, but the tweet said, “We gon turn up!!!”

Vice Lords, bloods, crips, MS-13, etc etc…

Skin color, social and sexual status…people we gotta do betta

It’s one thing to die of cancer or some terminal disease

But it’s a whole ‘nother ball game when it’s a bullet or a senseless beating

Senseless acts of violence that we wreck our brain to understand

We try to make sense of it logically but… we just can’t

5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 years old

Finding their little bodies chopped up in dumpsters; but they screamin’ gun control

I apologize if that turned your stomachs; but I hope it made you squirm in your seat

Painting the picture of this sinful world is not always a portrait of pretty

Drugs, alcohol, money, guns, knives, hatred…

But if you think that’s the problem, you’re sadly mistaken

God is love but where is He; I thought He promised never to leave

Oh…He’s still there; we’ve left Him, out of selfishness, confusion, fear, and greed

Kids raising kids and children killing children

I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed but something’s wrong with that picture

Where are we, adults…some of us are acting just like them

They don’t learn violent behavior on their own; step back and think about where they get it from

They get it from the OGs that only know how to ask what set you claim

They get it from the Mafioso who is only striving to be a made man

They got it from that man they saw beating on that woman

They got it from that woman they saw selling her body on the Bissonnet corner.

What’s the solution? Turn back to God? Naw, you a punk if you do that!!!

But have you ever stopped to think why the world wants you to think like that

Our love for one another has waxed cold;

Where there is no God, there is no love

Where there is no love, there is no sense

But we try to make sense by making dollars

What sense does that make at the expense of mom, dad, brother, sister, son, and daughter?

Love is the solution and God is the source

Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, the life

Now you have hope and a choice

Read Poem: What I’ve Seen… by Ismail Satia

I’ve seen hearts as hard as stones,

I’ve seen strong men who could crush bones,

I’ve seen families torn apart by the raining of drones,

I’ve seen houses drop with a touch of a cyclone,

I’ve seen and learnt that the deadliest disease is being alone,

I’ve seen children, through no fault of their own, their lives are torn,

I’ve seen death doesn’t send a postcard or remind on a microphone,

I’ve seen that everyone goes back and answers to the One on the throne.
