Get to know writer Melissa R Mendelson:
1) What is the theme of your poem? Reflection. The past to me is crystal clear, but the future is not. 2) How would you like people to respond when they read or watch your poetry reading? I would like my poem to be but a mirror, a pool of thought for others to sit by, contemplate, dream and wonder. 3) How long have you been writing poetry? I've been writing poetry since high school. 4) Do you have a favorite poet? William Blake. I love how his poem is used in "Lullaby" by Loreena McKennitt. 5) What influenced you to submit to WILDsound and have your poetry performed by a professional actor? Exposure. 6) Do you write other works? scripts? Short Stories? Etc..? I am a published short story author and poet. I also write lyrics and fan fiction. Most of my fan fiction is based off of Sci-Fi/Supernatural Television Shows. 7) What is your passion in life? Writing. ****
