Still Thoughts, Poetry by Jade Cecilia Macauley

They float around
the passages of my mind
searching for a place
they won’t find

I do not govern them
I let them roam free
discovering everything
inside of me
without knowing
they’ll never find an outlet
but they are not lost
they’re impossible to forget

though to my tongue
they will always be unmet.

– by Jade Cecilia Macauley

Genre: contemplation, silence and the power of the mind.
