You tried to be different but you
were alone, like
a leper,
in the wilderness.

It didn’t feel like the whole world
was not treating you right, but the
hatred seemed evident.

They failed to realize that unlike
the three Wise Men
following a star, you
were a man
following
a dream –
your dream.
