Read Poem by Alice Trueman

The air aches
When you are on the breeze

The breathing
Breaks all my resolve

The pulsing;
Our lives inside the soil

The ground grieves
Everything you feel

A knowing,
Echoes in the bones:

Reality
Is ours in the making

There

Where you are
And I am

An elemental change
