Read Poem: Spurn, by Hank Biro

We are being spurned

When will people learn?

It’s time for concern

Lines have been blurred

Distractions at every turn

Money must be earned

Those with less are scorned

The famous we idolize

Melodrama to entice

Celebrations

Brief vacations

Rollercoaster of vibrations
