permitted to fly

Thrilling

Until the elders

told me why

“This is to prepare you, for soon, you will die.”

No more

minutes to try

At once

I am

to

jump & soar

Mostly to allow

Other to adore

my vibrant sight

soon twilight

will dissipate

my inner light

angels

will near

and I won’t put up a fight
