I’m Sorry, Poetry by Jaco Potgieter

Standing in the ashes of my sorry I dream of what could have been.

Looking at the grey and black I wonder about what came first and last.

How it would have been if I spoke or remained silent a little longer.

What this moment might have looked like if I did more or didn’t do.

In this now exist only the scarred and broken remains of what if?

Touching the torched wood of our togetherness, it crumbles to nothing.

I’m Sorry by Jaco Potgieter

Standing in the ashes of my sorry I dream of what could have been.

Looking at the grey and black I wonder about what came first and last.

How it would have been if I spoke or remained silent a little longer.

What this moment might have looked like if I did more or didn’t do.

In this now exist only the scarred and broken remains of what if?

Touching the torched wood of our togetherness, it crumbles to nothing.

Dusty maps in my hands of roads traveled brings no peace, they end here.

Then I cry at the joke of it all, the tortured reality of the path of destiny.

I’m sorry.

I use the fragments of what should have been to clear a new path.

Then I summon myself to this home of catastrophic annihilation.

I scoop up the remnants of us from the debris with my hands.

I bow my head and with my tears water the green seedling of our new creation.

Love, Poetry by Bryan Chan

Do you have morphine?

Cause it hurts just looking at…

Nevermind that

Those lines fall flat

From the actual words

Which one contemplates

When one is inert

Love by Bryan Chan

Do you have morphine?

Cause it hurts just looking at…

Nevermind that

Those lines fall flat

From the actual words

Which one contemplates

When one is inert

To react

In the presence of the proverbial angel

Flawless at every angle

Even the proverbial cripple

Would undeniably be able

To “proverbially” stand for that

A wit as sharp

As the shiniest harp

That has played at my heartstrings

Mozart and Bach

Unfamiliar to my ears

But all so distinguishable

By the fragmented soul

Which attains this heart

This is me

This is he

In love at the seams

It shows  in his ability

To abuse his mind

To speak of words

That never exist

In the presence of the girl

As “extrasimpobashalant”

Than his mind can conjure

When in a situation

Such as this

Or in every other time

He thinks of her kiss

Skin of moonlight

Eyes of starlight

Born of twilight

That’s what she is,light!

Photons of an infinite spectrum

Indefinable by refraction

As every angle is

Critical

To every fibre of my being

I fall into folly

Clair de lune?

Not even close,Debussy

Mona Lisa?

Who is she,Davinci?

When compared to the beauty

A portrait which flows

In the crevice of my mind

To the centre of my soul

She moves in beauty

As natural as Gaia

The foundations which makes her

An ever lasting fire

Of hope

In a world

With no tomorrow

She is my beacon

My bacon

My sunny side ups

The simple happiness

When I wake up

Each morning

I am the jester

I am the fool

She is the murals I look upon to

At the chapel of sixtus

A few feet away

Yet unable to grasp

Yet i grasp it’s beauty in full detail

How can this be?

How is this real?

So here I am

A feet away

A meter from your existence

A mere milimeter in distance

Of space

But I am a light-year away from the red

Numb

Dumb

Glum

Drying in the sun

Like Patrick and the sponge

When you are the lamp

How can the one thing that gives me life take it from me? That is she.

Whatever next?, Poetry by Alex Cottle

Whatever next? by Alex Cottle

A seed

May find it’s way

among the soil.

Let it stay, let it grow…

or land they will, the flock of crows.

Either way, it may die.

Maybe a butterfly’s wing beat will cause it’s ruin.

Perhaps it endures. Whatever next?

Shall we stand here, questioning, perplexed?

It will grow, taking up precious space.

Space that could more than easily be replaced.

It is time to decide, is it in our favour?

Will it flower? Shall we save her?

Or will we uproot it? Call me a traitor.

Nature! Nature! Hear my call,

please do not stall.

Do not make this feeling linger.

For is that not why you gave us minds?

What use is the mind, when we have conscience?

The smart decisions are almost always nonsense.

We feel bad, sad, clad in blackmail,

irons, chains.

But the tick is this my friend, my companion.

Whatever we determine is already determined.

The purpose,

of this seed, rooted inside,

grants you permission to think you decide.

Don’t Leave Me, Poetry by Arian Fatius

Don’t Leave Me

by Arian Fatius

Midnight hour is howling

Chilling wind is swirling

It’s raining outside

I come to your room

As you waiting for me
There you are

Tempting me with your beauty

When I kissed your forehead

Down to your eyes

There I see a beutiful thing

The way you breath

The way you look at me
Stay here a little more

I want to hug you

Eyes that roam

As my finger wander
Your thoughts linger

And I heard your moan

As I lick your neck

Blow my breath on your erected nipple

As your heart is strobing

While you keep stroking me
You moved your hips so intense

As we caressing  each other

Don’t leave me alone

When the pleasure comes
through the cold night
Let’s stay like this a bit more

DAS NICHTS, Poetry by Juan Antonio Garcia

The nothingness or her illuminated face,

DAS NICHTS
by Juan Antonio Garcia

The nothingness or her illuminated face,
Heaven under a hell of mud
The place towards we move
The place where our glance turns white.

We are mirrors of nothing, humans
When we discern our path of silt,
We expect to see a space and a time
But we are nothing and thus we dream

Nothing is space and nothing is time
Nothing our interior neither our exterior
Beings that don´t long for anything,
They only live for laughter or for nothing.

Moon Light, Poetry by Jennifer Martinez

I can’t read your mind but I can read your body

Let me tell you something I don’t tell you enough

What I feel can’t be described by words alone

Words are not enough to show so I will say this

Maybe you won’t understand, maybe in years you will

The light that you see in my eyes are from you

I’m in new territory but I understand what I’m feeling

Maybe you won’t understand, maybe in years you will

The light that you see in my eyes are from you

I’m in new territory but I understand what I’m feeling

But look at the sky at night, see with your heart

Feel the breeze slide on your skin smoothly

The moment of calmness and ease from the sky

Look at the moon smiling at you while you smile back

The light of the moon resembles the light of my eyes

Don’t forget that light when you can’t see me

That is all I will say now

Stranger In Love….

Late night on the I can’t sleep train…  It just keeps going Nowhere Fast and Time Is not of essence unfortunately. The only thing I can think is Write a Write of Feeling that stows upon me this evening. And so with Her Magical Pen and this in heart she began ~

Stranger things have Happened I must Say. It must lead to something greater than the unknown I pray it leads me straight to You and You to Me anticipation it has killed me before I feel it’s different this time though….. Beautiful?! One might ask: My Reply is only this to you, Beyond Beautiful He is  indeed but of this you would only know if my eyes were yours for a moment in this time to see just as I see He. Stranger things as said have happened indeed. Scared? Yes!!!! Terrified if I must add, Not of One Another But of Each Self and what we both harbor. “What If” we just gave up He on I and I on He “What if” I don’t want that to be Our Goodbye; We Just Began this journey him and I  “What if” Is not in Our Stars so why  are we Fighting A War Within  knowing The outcome of Our own self Battle Neither one of us has yet to win. I give you this very day the key to my domain my Sacred Place Very few have ever been allowed in please remember they don’t make duplicates be cautious yet gentle what your holding Is beyond repair if ever broken or filled with despair. One last thing I must write on the lines of your Soul, so if ever apart you may hear them whisper upon every beat of your heart: Not by Accident……Coincidence Agreed! Only Angels hear the tears of pain we cry the ones that fall from our eyes and flood our souls beyond our control… Perhaps we pained simultaneously that day for we may never know how our story was told only how it’s supposed to read: You ~ Me ~ Our beautiful destiny.

ΜEMORY

Memory…
You erase everything
with a sponge
when you want…
You keep only the minimum
those small things
that were wrong done,
but so sweet,
so full of lust
so very well lived.
Ah… the memory!!!
I forgot your face
I can’t even remember
your eyes anymore.
Only, when the weather
changes,
few words, sharp as
a knife
just few words…
when we said goodbye.
I don’t even remember
what they were anymore…
Just the pain..
the pain of the moment
Only that I feel in my heart…
Only that….I remember.

Ghost of my love, Poetry Mandar Naik

Ghost of my love
by Mandar Naik

Last night I saw ghost of my love

It stood in the window, looking above.

It looked pale, tired and in despair,

As if it had just arrived from a crowded fair.

I was scared to see its darkest eyes,

Still hoping to give it one more rise.

Its deep buried smell of past,

Made me feel disturbed and aghast.

It pleaded me for a single sight,

to remember those days, tears and fight.

That endless waiting, those arms and songs to sing

Those rains, those touches, don’t you remember anything?

I said I have buried what all has gone

Those dreams withered, leaving me alone.

On the grounds of dried tears, I have sown phony smiles,

Guarding them from looming reminiscences reverting from long miles.

When you were alive, I had lived too merrily

Each day was bliss and slept dreamily.

Never knew you will leave me midway,

In the dark caves of sorrows without any ray.

I have managed to come over those mystic chants,

Which led me again & again into vicious rants.

It was a long way & it is foregone

Now I do not wish to remember & bemoan.

You go again into the deepest of my heart,

Never to revert again, never again to mar.

Never again scare me, never again rise.

I have given everything I had now to become empty & wise.

The Ghost looked at me proudly with a beaming smile,

Embracing my wet heart, waning in a while.

Said it, it will never ever reoccur from the depths

And sleep a long dream with eyes wept.

It disappeared from the window, I stood for a while.

Paying homage to my dead love & memories of time.

Then came down the rain to wet my mind

It washed away my past, sowing seeds of hope behind.

ONLY A MATTER OF TIME, Poetry by Coni Koepfinger

ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
by Coni Koepfinger

On Sunday we spoke
A few words, loving yet not a lot
On Monday we spoke
She was hopeful to move
Out of that sad situation
I was eager to help her be free again
On Tuesday there was no more time
To say anything more
To plan anything
To get a bed or to pack
Dreams, new dreams gone.
Just gone.
We were so hopeful.
At last, after seven years, free.
If only we could see
The time vanishing
Right before our eyes
If only we could hear
It all winding down
In the human heart
Those slow burning embers
Of human desperation
Sizzling out to ash
Why is it always too late
To late to take out the trash
And to let the other love you
It’s always a matter of time
Isn’t it?
A matter of time.
Yet what is time?
And why am I still surprised
By my ignorance
By my arrogance
Why do we always want more time
Perhaps it’s ego
To want to know
To want to go back in time
To make the words all rhyme
To let our last words be loving ones
And to make more, just a little more time.
