The scent and sound of your beautiful soul
by Gordana Frgačić

Today
I was woken up
By the scent
Of your soul
You weren’t even near me
But I inhaled you
Through every pore
Of my skin
I floated
For a while
On the soft layers
Of your beautiful soul
Suddenly
I smiled
And I knew
Your soul just started to sing

 FACTORY OF DREAMS
by  Katarina Jovcevska

You are   my  motivation

Simply,crazy  inspiration

When I am in love

I hear  the music in my  heart

Every time.

You  are the reason to write

When  I think of you  day and night

I can do  a miracle

If just  one word

To adore and explore

I feel  that I soar

So highly  above this  horizon

You are so magical

And  Love  is so beautiful.

I imagine your  face

I am touching your grace

Let your kiss  comes to my lips immediately

Be my wonderful peace

Through the whole galaxy

Let catch you  my poetry

When your name I  am whispering

Let me be the happiest being

Which you have never seen

In  my factory of dreams.

Porphyria’s Lover, Poetry by Arnab Dey

Walking down the alley,

Porphyria’s Lover by Arnab Dey

1

Walking down the alley,

Suddenly felt a strange wave;

She was strolling towards me,

Fresh out of the grave!

Her hair was still unkempt,

But her flesh was so intact;

Closer cometh her,

To make an eye contact.

Her beauty’s inexplicable,

Beyond my wild fantasy;

Then we’re behind my stone,

To find utmost secrecy.

And then I kissed her perfect lips,

And touched her mind & soul;

And then she lifted my spirit,

And my body came along as a whole.

And we’d both spirited away,

Traversed through the drunken street;

Onlooking on all the rendezvous,

And deciding where again to meet.

2

Good morning dear,

It’s another day,

Try to get some sleep,

While Sun is in its full glory!

Good Afternoon baby,

Are you half-asleep now?

Sunlight is still out there

And church is having its last call.

Good evening sweetheart,

Wake up! Wake up!

Let’s start our holy night

While city’s busy relaxing.

Good night lover,

Hold my hand and fly away,

Touch all the graves on the way,

It’s time to spread the joy!

Aspiration, Poetry by Carrie Barnes

I try not to feel this way about you,

but I can’t help it

My mind knows I’ll get hurt,

but my heart doesn’t care

Genre:Romance

Aspiration by Carrie Barnes

I try not to feel this way about you,

but I can’t help it

My mind knows I’ll get hurt,

but my heart doesn’t care

I tell myself to listen to my head

instead of my heart,

but when you look at me,

I’m like putty in your hands

You have such power over me

and you don’t even know it

You think we’re just friends,

but little do you know

that I dream about us being

together one of these days

That’s all it is though,

a dream

I see the way you look at other girls,

ones that are fitter than me,

ones that a funnier than me,

ones that are prettier than me

The way you look at them,

is the same way I look at you

I know I don’t have a chance,

but I can only hope that

one day you’ll feel the same way

about me,

that I do about you

To my future significant other, Poem by Morgan Fasanelli

if we ever actually end up finding each other

i hope that, whoever you are – you love me as much as i hope i love you

and i hope that you hate snow, but you’ll appreciate that i love it

you’ll let me shovel alone because you know i don’t mind being alone

you’ll just have coffee ready for me when i come inside

Genre: sad, romantic, hopeful, love

To my future significant other by Morgan Fasanelli

if we ever actually end up finding each other

i hope that, whoever you are – you love me as much as i hope i love you

and i hope that you hate snow, but you’ll appreciate that i love it

you’ll let me shovel alone because you know i don’t mind being alone

you’ll just have coffee ready for me when i come inside

and i hope you know that when i get sad, which i will, it probably won’t be you

and i hope you’ll let me spew out my dramatic thoughts and feelings and i hope you’ll be okay with the fact that i don’t need you to tell me it’s okay, i just need you to let me tell you what’s on my mind

I hope that you have these idiosyncrasies about yourself because let me tell you, i notice everything

and i will notice if you pull the cuffs of your sleeves when you’re uncomfortable because it’s a natural reflex from grade school when someone would say something about what used to be a touchy subject for you, even though the scars are almost fully faded

And i hope that you’ll understand that i’m sorry for everything all the time, and that i’m really trying not to be

And i hope that you have lots of little stories that you remember from your past that you’re comfortable sharing with me

but most of all i hope you don’t fit every detail i just said

because that is to say that i saw you coming, and i saw us coming

and i don’t want to see this coming

i want to be so completely blindsided by your love that it knocks the air right out of my lungs

and i hope that, whoever you are – you love me as much as i hope i love you

Why can’t I move?, Poetry by Tierra Martin

Being enclosed by your infidelity no air for me to breathe.

Why won’t you just let me live!

Being caught in your wrongs isn’t what I pictured our relationship to be.

Genre: Heartache, Romance, Relationship

Why can’t I move? by Tierra Martin

Being enclosed by your infidelity no air for me to breathe.

Why won’t you just let me live!

Being caught in your wrongs isn’t what I pictured our relationship to be.

Not being able to be set free me falling damn on my knees in a searing plead.

You took quit advantage of my kindness.

Therefore, me pushing away from all this hurt in the end would help me mend things on my own two feet.

While my heart is beating defeating your indecisive mindset

I’ll also be set free to fly away too a place where I can finally love me for me..

The night we fell in love, Poetry by Lari G

When our eyes met the first time,

I knew it was a sign,

And when we talked for the first time,

I knew what was next in line

Genre: Love, Romance

The night we fell in love by Lari G

When our eyes met the first time,

I knew it was a sign,

And when we talked for the first time,

I knew what was next in line

We dance one night,

Your left hand holding my right

Together, we sway slowly

But our hearts are beating rapidly

And even when the music has stopped

And everybody wants to take a nap

We keep on dancing that night

That night, where everything felt right

The moon is shining brighter

The wind is blowing harder

And even if the stars are teasing

We just want to keep it going

That night, the night you came,

My world had never been the same,

‘Cause that’s when we knew that we are bound to be together

And we both hope and pray that it will last forever

We dance one night

Your left hand holding my right

And we kept on swaying that night

The night we fell in love.

Poetry by Fernanda Wilt

There it is, lurking, the past

Comes smooth, quietly

And dump over them, as a wave

The damned nostalgia

Streets that run in parallel

But never find exit

Genre: love, life, romance, sad, nostalgia, and hope

Poetry by Fernanda Wilt

There it is, lurking, the past

Comes smooth, quietly

And dump over them, as a wave

The damned nostalgia

Streets that run in parallel

But never find exit

In the present what are they waiting for?

The world to go around

And to overturn your ways

So your patches will meet again

Spin world, the pivot, as it says a song

Spin, faster, hurry up

Pass the time, torment

And put them again in the right patch

In the past, wasted, nothing was build

And in the future, dreamed, is where they look for haven

There it is, gloomy, the past

Remembering the delayed present

Delaying the wanted future

A Brief Encounter, Poetry by H. Alahmad

It was cloudy

Suddenly an angel descended from heaven

Genre: Love, Rhyme, Romance

A Brief Encounter by H. Alahmad

It was cloudy

And the thunder was rowdy

Suddenly an angel descended from heaven

And called me at eleven

We met at a place of festivity

I felt I am outside the bounds of gravity

I wanted to fly

High in the sky

She said buy me a lollipop

And take me to a bookshop

If I liked books before

Today I adore them more than my Porsche four by four

Because they will testify that my encounter was real

Although it was surreal

My angel was gorgeous

Like a rose from Damascus

She has beautiful eyelashes

Those convert the heart into ashes

She was so white

And her teeth were so bright

Her voice was like music to my ears

But it brought to my eyes tears

When she said I have to go

It was like the end of the show

I wanted time to freeze

I kept saying please please please

But time had no mercy on me

And refused my plea

Time has a heart made of stone

And refused to give me a loan

All I wanted is one extra minute

But I was unfortunate

The books were crying

And words were dying

When she said bye

And ascended high

I wish I was shot

And buried on that spot

The books will be my coffin

And words will be my next of kin

It was a brief encounter

It was a brief encounter

And then you implode
Your toes curl
You bury your face in the pillow
Whispering I miss you
And his name over and over
Until your voice whimper
Your eyes fill up with tears
For the painful void in your chest reminds you
He’s not with you
You and your own skin are alone
All you have are the images inside your head
And the cinder he left you with
Which every cell in your body craves to burn
